A photogravure image of day laborers printed on a sarape printed fabric. I’m thinking about the extraction of labor and culture in this piece. The image of immigrant laborers is quite obvious but I thought it was important to superimpose that image atop of a commercially available print of a traditional woven pattern known as the sarape.
